I had been camping on the north coast of Northern Ireland and was heading home after a weekend of mixed weather and few opportunities to get a great shot. I decide to drive to Portstewart Strand which is a great beach for breaking waves. Walking down the strand I saw these posts and the pools of water left by the receding tide. I love looking at the lines in the image and then finding the surfer heading out to catch the last waves before the light disappears.
