Sherrard Point is a lookout on Larch Mountain in Oregon and probably the best find for me on my travels around the Portland area. On a clear day, you will have spectacular sights of Mt Hood, Adams, St Helen’s, Rainier, Jefferson and lots of other minor peaks that make up the Cascades. I got so lucky on this evening on one side I shot sunset over the Columbia River Gorge and then behind me Mount Hood rising out of a sea of trees with those beautiful dusk colours in the sky.
