Glacier Point is in Yosemite National Park, in California, United States. It is located on the south wall of Yosemite Valley at an elevation of 7,214 feet (2,199 m), 3,200 feet (980 m) above Half Dome Village. I have to tell you looking over the edge down at the village at this height is SCARY! However, this is easily overcome by the superb view of several of Yosemite National Park’s well-known landmarks. including from, left to right: Tenaya Canyon, Half Dome, Liberty Cap, Little Yosemite Valley, Vernal Fall and Nevada Fall. Such a spectacular place and on a spectacular scale. I hope this image, like all my images, makes you want and go and see this place for yourself.
