Driving through Canada on my way to Jasper, I pulled in to take a break from driving. It wasn’t a great day but this place looked nice so I stopped for some lunch and had a walk around. I found myself watching the pontoon and wondering what this place would be like on a warm summer day with people swimming out to and jumping off the platform. The wind died away and in turn, the water stilled until it looked like glass, just as the dull overcast sky broke and the light lifted. I took the shot.
